2011:  Valleau competed on the floor at the NCAA Championships where she scored a 9.725.  She qualified for the championships after tying for first on the floor at the NCAA Corvallis Regional with a career-best 9.900.  Katie was the first Spartan to win a regional floor title and the first to qualify as a specialist for the championships.  She was a first team All-Western Athletic Conference honoree on floor after tying for second at the conference meet with a 9.825.  She did not receive a score lower than a 9.725 in 12 meets and spent much of the year ranked in the top-25 nationally on floor.  Valleau had a 9.875 in two meets and a 9.850 in two meets.  She also won the floor at two other meets - California/ UC Davis with a 9.825, and a home meet against Sacramento State with a 9.850.  Valleau also competed on the vault in seven meets and had a 9.650 at Southern Utah.

2010:  Katie competed in 10 meets on the vault and all 12 meets on the floor.  On the vault, she scored a 9.675 against Sacramento State and UC Davis and added a 9.650 at the WAC Championships.  On the floor, Valleau scored a career-best 9.875 against Stanford and California and received a 9.800 or better in four meets.  She added a 9.850 against Cal State Fullerton.

2009: Valleau competed on the floor in all 12 meets.  She received her best score of the year with a 9.825 at the WAC Championships.  She scored a 9.800 at Seattle Pacific and against Utah State and received a 9.700 or higher in eight meets.

CLUB:  Valleau competed for Mission Valley YMCA.  She was second in the all-around at the 2008 Southern California Championships, Group D.  Valleau was ninth on the floor at the 2008 Region I Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Valleau graduated from the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts in 2008.

PERSONAL:  Katie is a hospitality and event planning major who would like to own a restaurant after graduation.  She is a San Jose State Scholar Athlete and Academic All-WAC honoree.  She enjoys sewing and arts and crafts in her spare time.  Katherine Naomi Valleau was born on February 15, 1990, in San Diego, Calif.
