San Jose State University Athletics fans can get the latest news on the Spartans from interim director of athletics Marie Tuite, Monday, May 21.

            Tuite will conduct a "live chat" here on www.sjsuspartans.com, beginning at 7:00 p.m. (PDT). Look for the live chat box on the website. The chat will stay active until 7:45 p.m. (PDT).

            Fans, friends of the program and alumni will be able to participate from a desktop or laptop computer.

            The Spartan Foundation fund drive, the move to the Mountain West, future football schedules and an update on our teams, coaches and student-athletes are just a few of the topics that can be covered during the live chat session.

            "I believe it is important to keep our fans, friends and alumni informed as much as possible. The school year may be ending, but we are doing everything we can to keep our positive energy and momentum going into the summer. There is a lot for us to accomplish for 2012-13 and our move to the Mountain West and we want to let people know how they can join us in this exciting time to be a Spartan," says Tuite. "I'm really looking forward to chatting with our online Spartans."
