AT SJSU: Fall 2012 marks her second season as a Spartan.

2011: Competed in all six of San Jose State's races including the Western Athletic Conference championship... she scored for the Spartans and was the team's top-finisher at the San Francisco State Invitational...she finished in 23rd place at the Battle of the Bay Invitational (10/4) for her top finish...fastest 5K time of 19:42.4 came at the UC Riverside Invitational where she placed 95th.

COLLEGE PARK HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters in both track and field and cross country while competing two seasons on the soccer team...selected first-team All Diablo Valley Athletic League (DVAL) two times for cross country and a second-team All-DVAL selection in soccer...high school career best three mile time of 18:52 and career best 5K time of 19:07.

MARISSA: The dietary nutrition major plans on working as a nutritionist at a hospital after her college career...enjoys reading and watching movies in her spare time...the native of Walnut Creek, Calif., was born on September 12, 1992.
