AT SJSU: Competed for four seasons as a Spartan...Was an Academic All-WAC honoree during all four years of her career.

2011: Competed for the Spartans in five of six races...scored in four races including the Western Athletic Conference Championship where she finished 27th...ran her fastest career 5K time of 18:32.7 at the UC Riverside Invitational where she placed 31st ...got her second career top-ten finish as she came in 6th place at the Battle of the Bay Invitational helping the Spartans take the victory as a team...ended the season and her career by competing in the NCAA West Regional meet finishing in 178th place with a 6K time of 23:26.

2010: Competed in all six races, scored for SJSU in five races and had the best marks of her Spartan career...started off with a first place finish at the 2.95 mile Battle of the Bay (9/4)...fastest 5K time of 18:39 came at the Bronco Invitational...finished in tenth place (23:01) at the Gator Invitational (10/8)...25th place (19:04.3) at UC Riverside Invitational (9/18)...placed 43rd (19:05.12) at the WAC championship (10/30)...was also an academic All-WAC honoree for the second straight year.

2009: Was one of only five Spartans to compete in five meets...was one of only two Spartans to score in every race she competed in...had her best finish of 19th place at the WAC Championship Meet...ran her fasted 5K time of 18:46 at the Bronco Open where she finished 71st.

2008: Competed in five meets...scored in all five meets for the Spartans...placed 20th at the S.F. State Invitational (6K)...fastest 5K time of 19:17.50 at the USF Invitational...placed 41st at the WAC Championship (5K) with a time of 20:12.80

HIGH SCHOOL:  Lettered four years in cross country and track (Coach Dan Wilvers) at South Tahoe (Nev.) High School...earned cross country First Team All-Region honors four times and All-State honors three times...named South Tahoe HS Athlete of the Year...won the 2008 3200 meter Nevada Regional Championship...a three year nordic skiing letter winner.

PERSONAL:  Majoring in radio, television and film and going for a minor in dance...enjoys dancing, skiing and cycling...a native of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., Kate Lambdin was born on April 12, 1990.
