A 2012 CalHiSports medium schools all-state selection, Keoni is an offensive line prospect coming to San Jose State in the fall.  Taylor was the top offensive lineman for the Garces Memorial High (Coach Jim Maples) in Bakersfield, Calif., team that won the 2012 C.I.F. Central Section Division II championship. He also was a two-time first-team all-league and first time all-area offensive lineman during his high school career. The two-sport letterwinner was a shot put and discus thrower for the track and field team.

Keoni plans to be a pre-med student. He wants to be a child pediatrician. His uncle, Chad Kahale, was an offensive lineman for the 2001 through 2004 University of Hawaii football team.  Taylor enjoys playing paintball and reading. His favorite book is Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. The native of Honolulu, Hawaii, was born on March 10, 1995.

Coach Caragher on Keoni: "Keoni is a physical, athletic offensive lineman who plays with a high-tempo, high motor. As an interior-type lineman, he'll be a center or a guard. He can play both guard positions. He brings a tough, physical factor to our offensive line."
