Chris Gonzalez DL 6-3 260 FR

 A two-time All-C.I.F.  football selection, Chris is a defensive line prospect coming to the Spartans this fall. Playing his senior season at Salesian High in Los Angeles (Coach Roddy Hiatt), Gonzalez was the Santa Fe League Defensive Player of the Year. He was credited with 68 tackles, three forced fumbles, and a blocked punt in 2012. Chris was an All-Pioneer League, All-C.I.F. choice, and received his team's Academic Scholar Award as a junior at Torrance (Calif.) High. The two-sport letterwinner was a shot put and discus thrower for the Torrance High track and field team. He was a 2012 C.I.F. Southern Section Division II finalist in the shot put. Gonzalez plans to major in business. He was born on July 3, 1995.
