An ESPN.com 3-star selection, Billy is a tight end prospect joining the Spartans this fall. In his two seasons at Red Mountain High in Mesa, Ariz. (Coach Ron Wisniewski), he caught 67 passes for 785 yards and nine touchdowns. Freeman was a two-time first-team all-region and a second-team all-state pick as a tight end and a second-team all-state choice as a special teams player during his high school career. Billy began his varsity high school career as a quarterback on the Brophy High in Phoenix, Ariz. He enjoys playing ping-pong, golf, and dirt biking. As a youngster, he learned to play the piano. His sister, Alyssa Freeman, completed her third season on the Arizona State University women’s soccer team. Billy is contemplating majoring in business or pre-med. He would like to become a doctor. The native of Scottsdale, Ariz., was born on September 10, 1993.
