After a prolific pass catching career at St. Francis High in LaCanada, Calif. (Coach Jim Bonds), Travis will be focusing on the defensive side of the ball when he joins the Spartans this fall as a safety candidate. Talianko caught 155 passes for 2,492 yards and 27 touchdowns in three varsity seasons. As a safety last year, he was credited with 56 tackles, two forced fumbles, one interception and six pass break-ups. He was a first-team All-Mission League, first-team All-Los Angeles Daily News and a first-team All-C.I.F. Southern Section Division IV selection in 2011. As a junior when he caught 17 touchdown passes in 11 games, Travis was a first-team all-league, first team All-C.I.F. and second-team all-state honoree by CalHiSports. He concluded his high school career playing in the 2012 Los Angeles Daily News All-Star Game. The two-sport letterwinner also played basketball as a freshman and a sophomore. Talianko plans to major in business administration. Presently, he belongs to the Life, Learning & Safe Experience Club at St. Francis High. He was born on February 8, 1994.
