Played in 10 games and started eight times in 2008...Team was 4-4 in the games he started...Also came off the bench for his major college debut in the UC Davis win (8/30)...Completed 14-of-18 for two second-half touchdowns against UC Davis...Posted a 64.0 pass completion percentage – the second best single-season figure at San Jose State...Was the nation’s most accurate passer after four games with a 79.38 completion percentage...Set a San Jose State single-game record completing 88.5 percent of his passes (23-of-26) at Stanford (9/20)...Passed for two or more touchdowns in the UC Davis, Hawai’i (9/27) and Utah State (10/11) victories and at Nevada (11/15)... Notched his first 300-yard passing game in the Utah State win...Became the first San Jose State quarterback in 25 years to rush for three touchdowns in a game during the San Diego State triumph...Led the Spartans with four rushing touchdowns in 2008...Did not play two of the last four games of the 2008 season due to an accumlation of hits from runs from scrimmage and quarterback sacks.
