Approximately 85 San Jose State student-athletes are participating in the 5th Annual San Jose State Day of Service on Friday, November 4, beginning at 8 a.m.

Student-athletes from women's cross country, football, women's golf, women's gymnastics and women's swimming and diving as well as Spartan Athletics staff are going out to six different sites to do beautification, graffiti clean-up, park clean-up, school projects and various other community service.

The Day of Service brings together students, staff, and faculty to enhance the area surrounding SJSU through projects that will be largely educational and enrichment based in schools, community centers, neighborhoods and museums.  There are also neighborhood improvement and beautification projects.
