Weaver Named Coordinator Of Equipment Services

San Jose, Calif. - Justin Weaver, an 18-year veteran of the San Jose State University Athletics Department, has been named the new Coordinator of Equipment Services effective May 15.

"Justin has been a member of San Jose State Athletics for many years," said Associate Athletics Director for Business Operations Matt Witty. "We are very happy he has agreed to take on this new challenge."

Weaver has served as one of the Spartans Equipment Managers since 2000 and during his time at San Jose State has worked with all the programs 16 teams. He began his tenure as a student assistant in 1994.

Weaver holds a bachelors degree in kinesiology from San Jose State. He is a member of and holds a certification from the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
