|Travis Johnson In The East-West Shrine Game|
Tampa, Fla.-----San Jose State University football defensive end Travis Johnson will continue his college career playing in the 88th annual East-West Shrine Game.
The longest running college all-star game is Saturday, January 19 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Game time is 4:00 p.m. (EST)/1:00 p.m. (PST) and the NFL Network is providing live television coverage.
Johnson finished the 2012 season as the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) leader in quarterback sacks among active players with 32.0, also a San Jose State and Western Athletic Conference (WAC) career record. He was named the WAC Defensive Player of the Year, a semifinalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy and the Hendricks Award, a SI.com honorable mention All-America and a second-team Capital One Academic All-America.
