Philadelphia, Pa.-----San Jose State University's Mike MacIntyre is one of 16 semifinalists for the 2012 Maxwell Football Club Collegiate Coach of the Year Award. Ron Jaworski, Club President, made the announcement. With one game remaining in the 2012 regular season, MacIntyre has the Spartans at 9-2, 4-1 in the Western Athletic Conference, and in the midst of a five-game winning streak. San Jose State's nine wins exceed the program's win total from the 2009 (2), 2010 (1) and 2011 (5) seasons combined. MacIntyre, nearing the end of his third season as head coach, accepted the San Jose State University job in December 2009 after two seasons as the defensive coordinator at Duke University.
