            For the first time this season, San Jose State received votes in the Associated Press and USA Today coaches' polls in the same week.

            According to the November 18 polls, the Spartans (9-2, 4-1 WAC) are ranked 33rd in the Associated Press poll with eight votes and 32nd in the coaches' poll with seven.

            San Jose State has a five-game winning streak and closes out the regular season hosting Louisiana Tech (9-2, 4-1 WAC), Saturday, November 24, in Spartan Stadium. ESPN2 will televise the game that has a new 7:30 p.m. start time.

Louisiana Tech is tied for 35th in the Associated Press poll and is 28th in the coaches' poll. Click here for poll results.

Ticket Information

            All tickets printed with the old game time of 1:00 p.m. will be honored and do not need to be exchanged. Tickets for Saturday's game are available and can be purchased online through www.sjsuspartans.com or www.ticketmaster.com or in person at the San Jose State athletics ticket office weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except on Thanksgiving and 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on game day. The Spartan Stadium box office windows will open at 4:30 p.m. on game night.

Reserved seat prices are $25.00. General admission for adults is $15.00, general admission youths 12 & under - $10.00 and San Jose State students with a valid Tower Card are admitted free and can bring a guest. A Family Four-Pack plan also is available.

College Football Performance Awards Recognize Keith Smith

            Linebacker Keith Smith was honored by the College Football Performance Awards program for his contribution in San Jose State's win over BYU as its National Linebacker Performer of the Week.

            Smith was credited with 19 tackles to match a career -high, 2.0 tackles for loss, a quarterback sack to ensure the Spartans' victory and a pair of forced fumbles.
