Bristol, Conn.-----With the superb early-season performances by both teams, ESPN is adding the San Jose State-UTSA football game to its October 20 broadcast offerings.

The Spartans (4-1, 0-0 WAC) and the Roadrunners (5-0, 1-0 WAC) game will be carried by ESPN3 live beginning at 1:00 p.m. (CT)/11:00 a.m. (PT).

San Jose State now has nine of its 12 regular-season games on the air.

This Saturday, October 13, San Jose State opens Western Athletic Conference play hosting Utah State in the Spartans' annual Homecoming game. ESPN Regional Television is providing live coverage beginning at 1:00 p.m. (PT). Northern California residents can watch the game on KOFY-TV (Channel 13, San Francisco) or on many local cable and satellite providers.
