Wil Carter, who finished his San Jose State men's basketball career as one of the top rebounders in school history, recently signed his first professional contract with Den Bosch of Holland.

            The 6-foot-8 Carter is one of two Americans joining the 2012 Dutch Eredivisie championship team. The Eredivisie league is the top professional league in Holland. The 28-game regular season starts in October and concludes in April.

            As a senior, Carter was second in scoring with a 13.2 average and pulled down a team-best 8.6 rebounds a game. He is one four San Jose State players to get credit for 260 or more rebounds in two seasons as a Spartan.
