San Jose State record: 2-3. The Spartans ended a two-game losing streak with a 109-71 victory over Holy Names University.
Montana State record: 2-3. Most recently, the Bobcats lost at Idaho, 76-67, on November 26. The San Jose State game is the second of a three-night, two-game road trip.
Texas San Antonio record: 4-3. The Roadrunners split their last four games with wins over Fresno State, 83-79, and Cameron, 76-48, and losses at Colorado State, 85-75, and to Pepperdine, 70-64 in overtime.

San Jose State has wins in the last two games between these teams including a 77-73 win at The Event Center on February 15, 2011. Montana State’s last win in the series was a 75-71 decision in the Holiday Station Stores Classic in Bozeman, Montana. San Jose State is 4-0 in home games against Montana State.
San Jose State-Texas San Antonio series: The Roadrunners won the first meeting between these teams, 72-63 in San Antonio, on November 30, 2010.

Plus 100: San Jose State’s point total in the 109-71 win over Holy Names on November 22 matched the second highest single point total for a Spartans’ game. On February 1, 1969, San Jose State defeated Nevada, 109-83. The San Jose State single scoring record of 114 points was in a 114-85 victory over Idaho State on December 10, 1966.
Six double-figure scorers: In the Holy Names victory, San Jose State had six players, Keith Shamburger, Jaleel Williams, Calvin Douglas, Wil Carter, Chris Jones and James Kinney, score in double figures.
Winning any way possible: San Jose State defeated UC Irvine making 27.6 percent of its field goal tries. Since 2002, the lowest field goal shooting percent in a San Jose State victory was a 35.8 percent figure in a 62-57 triumph over Idaho on March 3, 2007. The team’s shooting percentage against UC Irvine was its lowest in a game since a 26.6 mark (17-of-64) in a 72-52 loss at Hawai’i on January 25, 2007.

School record 30 assists: San Jose State was credited with a school record 30 assists in the Holy Names victory. The previous record was 24, twice - once in a 2005 win against Rice and first in a 2002 victory over Menlo College.
