Graduate Assistant Opportunities

Please read the following before applying for any Graduate Assistant Positions. 

All Graduate Assistants receive a $1,000 per month stipend for 12 months.  (No waiver of tuition available.)

To apply for position please email your cover letter and resume to the hiring manager listed with each position.  

All applicants must be accepted to a graduate program as San Jose State before applying. 

At San Jose State, individual departments provide information about the various Graduate Programs, and minimum requirements for admission, but the Admissions process is administered entirely by SJSU Graduate Admissions and Program Evaluations (GAPE). Please see the list of prefered Graudate Programs below:

Kinesiology Graduate Program.

Journalism and Mass Communications Graduate Program.

Lucas Graduate School of Business.

Graduate Assistantship: Athletic Performance

Responsibilities include assisting the Athletic Performance staff with all aspects of a 16-sport Division 1A athletic program and must adhere to all university, conference and NCAA regulations.
