The San Jose Mercury News inadvertently ran an advertisement stating that the game would be played on Saturday; game day is in fact Sunday 11/08/09.   

Tickets

Tickets are still available for the game, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PST.

For those looking to purchase tickets in person, tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. at the Spartan Athletic Ticket Office; and on sale at Spartan Stadium at 2:30 p.m.

Student Tickets

Students that pay the Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) Fee can scan their tower card at gate 9 for admittance.

General Parking
Game day public parking is available in the three White Lots; the surface lot located on the west side of 7th Street between Humboldt and the Alan B. Simpkins Athletic Administration Building parking lot, the White Lot located at Bud Winter Field on 10th & Alma and the Humboldt lot located on Humboldt between 7th Street and 10th Street. Game day parking may be purchased the day of each event at the lot entrances for $15 per space. Gates open five hours prior to kickoff. (*Passes can be ordered by calling the ticket office at 408-924-SJTX)

Tailgate Parking (Fan Fiesta)
Tailgate parking is available in the Fan Fiesta area located on the grass field bordered by Spartan Stadium, 10th Street, Alma and Stadium Way. Spaces are allocated on first-come, first-served basis. There is a charge of $30 per space. The Fan Fiesta area opens at 12:00pm. Fans are encouraged to arrive early. Once the Fan Fiesta area is full, fans will be directed to the White Lot on 10th Street. Passes can be ordered by calling the ticket office at 408-924-SJTX (7589).

Handicapped Parking
Handicap parking is conveniently located on the surface lot located at 7th Street between Humboldt and the Alan B. Simpkins Athletic Administration Building parking lot. There are a limited number available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning five hours prior to kickoff. A valid state-issued handicap-parking permit is required. Gate open five hours to kickoff.

Shuttle Service

A free shuttle is available to and from Spartan Stadium beginning at 3:30 p.m. and leaving from Spartan Village.  The shuttle opperates on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Television and Radio

Play-by-Play Radio Coverage: KLIV (1590 AM, San Jose) originates San Jose State University football broadcasts. Mike Chisholm calls the play-by-play. Kevin Richardson offers commentary. The pregame show for the Nevada game begins at 5:00 p.m. (PDT). KION (1460 AM, Salinas/Monterey) is a network affiliate. Broadcasts also are available at www.kliv.com.

Dick Tomey Radio Show:  The weekly one-hour Dick Tomey Radio Show airs live on KLIV (1590 AM, San Jose), Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. The 60-minute show originates from Original Joe's restaurant in downtown San Jose. 

Television Coverage:  ESPN will televise the San Jose State-Nevada game. Terry Gannon and David Norrie is the experienced broadcast pair.
