This Week: San Jose State has a 16-9-1 lead in the all-time series, but Utah State won the meeting earlier this year in Logan, 25-18, 26-24, 25-14. San Jose State leads the overall series, 23-13, but Nevada won last week’s matchup, 25-15, 25-17, 25-13. On the blocking front, Akana led the team with five blocks, one solo and four assists. Former setter Emily Burke had 40 assists, 15 digs and 10 kills. All-session tickets are $45 and can be purchased through the Spartan Ticket Office at 408-924-SJTX (7589).
