Kate Lambdin finished the course in 20:45.2, and was San Jose State's top finisher on the day. She was followed by Arely Marquez (21:16.2), and senior Nisha Richardson (21:28.6). "While our team and myself feel like we should have placed higher, we all proud of the way Kate ran her race today," said head coach Augie Argabright. Suzanne Hancock (21:45.6), and Lauren Dubay (21:56.9) rounded out the top five scorers for the Spartans. Courtney and Camille Schultz of New Mexico State finished first and second respectively to help the Aggies earn first place in the race. This finish will be the last of the 2009 season for the San Jose State women's team. Coach Argabright following the race said, "Today wasn't our day and it's disappointing that it happened on this race, but our runners did their best and we're proud of them for that. We'll look forward to getting back to this point in our season next year knowing we need to prove our talent." SJSU Results:
