"We had a great match today," said head coach Sylvain Malroux about the win over UNLV (3-3) and the Spartans first triumph over a nationally-ranked team since a victory over Northern Arizona on February 23, 2000. "We all fought really hard and from the doubles to the singles we played well. It was a wonderful team effort."
The Spartans play again on Sunday, February, 24 as they travel to Stockton, Calif. to go up against the University of the Pacific.
