For the fourth time in 2012, Ryan Otten is honored by the College Football Performance Awards program.

Davidson, N.C.-----Outstanding contributions in the 52-43 football win by San Jose State University over Louisiana Tech University result in College Football Performance Awards for three Spartans.

Defensive back Bené Benwikere, who tied a single-game school record with three interceptions, was named one of three National Defensive Performer of the Week and the National Defensive Back of the Week.

Benwikere is the second San Jose State player this season honored as a College Football Performance Award National Defensive Performer of the Week. After the UC Davis win in September, defensive end Travis Johnson received the honor.

Running back De'Leon Eskridge turned in a career best 217 yards and matched a personal single-game high of three touchdowns on 28 carries. He was named an Honorable Mention Running Back of the Week.

Tight end Ryan Otten earned Honorable Mention Tight End of the Week for the fourth time this season after scoring once and finishing with six receptions for 87 yards.

The College Football Performance Awards program uses empirical and quantitative standards to select its weekly award winners. Further information is available at www.collegefootballperformance.com
