Freshman Mikaella Meibock was named to the August 20 TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week. The honor was the first of her collegiate career.

The Team of the Week honors the top 11 players in NCAA Division I women's soccer. 

Meibock was named to the team after she scored two goals in just the third major college game of her career versus CSU Bakersfield. She currently leads the Spartans in goals (2), points (4), and shots (8).

Meibock and the Spartans (1-1-1) host the University of the Pacific Tigers (0-3-0) on Thursday, August 30, at 7:00 p.m., then head to Davis, Calif., on Sunday to take on the UC Davis Aggies (2-0-1).
