2012: Started in all 11 games she played, logging 772 minutes on the field…Led her team in goals (4) for the season…Scored her first-career goal Aug. 23 against CSUB…Scored a second goal in that match for her lone two-goal match of the season…That match sparked a three-match goal-scoring streak, with four goals against CSUB, Pacific and UC Davis…Took the second-most shots on her team, and led the Spartans in shots-on-goal, despite having her season shortened by injury (24). 

EDGE SCHOOL FOR ATHLETES: Three-year member of the school's senior soccer team.

SPRINGBANK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Springbank Community her freshman season and was a member of the girls soccer team that won the South Central Zone Championships in 2009.

MORE ON MIKAELLA: Plans to major in business administration with a concentration in marketing...Played club soccer alongside fellow Spartan Rachel Docherty with the Calgary-based Blizzard Threat (Coach Glenn Ramsay) that competed at the BMO National Cup in 2010 and earned a Bronze medal after going 3-0-0 in the preliminary round...Blizzard Threat finished second at Alberta's  U18 provincial championship in 2011...Has been in Canada's national training pool...Served as an assistant coach for the 2011 outdoor U14 Springbank Edge Mountaineers soccer team...Her mother was a member of the Canadian National Track and Field Team and her father was a 1992 Canadian Olympian in speed skating...Stepsister Breanna Boyd was a four-year member of the University of Nebraska women's soccer program and a Women's United Soccer Association one-time all star...Mikaella Hope Meibock was born in Seattle, Wash., on Nov. 15, 1994.
