Be a part of the 2012 Spartans Road Trip and get all your news on San Jose State Athletics first-hand. With an imminent move to the Mountain West, administrative changes taking place, championships and accomplishments on the playing fields and in the classroom to celebrate, this year is one of the most significant in Spartan Athletics history. Hear it yourself at one of five stops throughout California in
May and June. Football coach Mike MacIntyre, Deputy Director of Athletics John Poch, legendary linebacker Jim Ferryman ('70) and, Jim McGuy ('57), Mr. Nightlife of Newport Beach, are the co-hosts for the kickoff, Wednesday, May 23, at the Newport Beach (Calif.) Elks Lodge. Ferryman and McGuy know how to host a party and the
festivities start at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar and dinner. Coach MacIntyre will
offer his insights on the 2012 Spartans and John Poch talks about the upcoming
move to the Mountain West. Spartan Foundation members will get priority reservations.
