SPARTAN NOTES: Completed his second season with the Spartans.

2012: Played in 43 games with 36 starts - 19 as the designated hitter, 16 at third base and one at first base...Second on the team with 20 RBIs and fourth with eight doubles and 28 hits...Also drew 16 walks and scored 11 times...Season-high seven-game hitting streak came March 8-18, during which he had five multi-hit games and batted .480 with five doubles, three RBIs and six runs scored...Went 2-for-4 with a career-high four RBIs versus Lehigh on March 5...Hit two doubles in back-to-back games March 11th and 12th, first against Santa Clara in a 6-5 win and the next day against Columbia in a 6-1 Spartans' victory...Batted .400 (2-for-5) with the bases loaded and .667 (10-for-15) with a runner on third and less than two outs.

2011: Played in 22 games with 14 starts (eight at DH, six at 3B)…Recorded his first career hit at St. Mary’s on Feb. 21…Went 2-for-2 and drove in his first collegiate RBI versus Santa Clara (March 6)…Had a six-game hitting streak from March 6-13, going 10-for-21 (.476) with seven RBIs and four runs scored…Reached base four times against Wisconsin-Milwaukee (March 10) by going 3-for-4 with a walk, double, RBI and run scored…Stole his first base in college against Utah (March 12)…Hit .875 (7-for-8) with a runner on third and less than two outs and .333 overall with runners on base...Was sixth on the team in on-base percentage (.393) among players who had at least 20 appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Vallejo (Calif.) High School...A four-year letterwinner (Coach Josh Ramos)...Four-time All-Solano County Athletic Conference (SCAC) performer...Honored as the SCAC Player of the Year in 2010...Hit .450 with eight home runs his senior season...A four-time and two-time letterwinner in soccer and football, respectively.
