San Jose State University is conducting a search for a new head coach for its men's and women's cross country and women's outdoor track programs.

Student-athletes and coaches gathered in Spartan Stadium to recognize team and individual achievements at the Fifth Annual SAMMY Awards.

34 student-athletes from 12 sports programs are among the students that will be recognized at the University's 51st annual Honors Convocation, Friday, April 26, at The Event Center.

Head cross country coach Ron Davis made the announcement that two successful runners from southern California high schools will join the Spartans starting fall 2013.
